Green One Drive was founded in 2019 after the junior golfers at El Niguel Golf Club realized that by the time they were in high school, they had accumulated a lot of golf clubs. Graden Huang came up with the idea of recycling the clubs by putting new grips on them, polishing them, and donating them to junior golfers who can't afford them through the First Tee Foundation. All the boys realized that golf is an expensive sport and as you grow, you move through equipment quite quickly. Graden's good friend Dylan Walsh is an expert at putting on new grips in his garage. Graden and Dylan spoke to their friends and they all decided to devote their spare time to collecting donated clubs and refurbishing them for a good cause. They also want to provide free putting clinics to kids who would otherwise never be exposed to the sport. What they have learned over years on the golf course is that the essence of golf instills a love of the outdoors, resilience, patience, hard work, sportsmanship, and friendship. These are the things they want to pass down on to new golfers along with the equipment.
